• Crafted from locally made traditional Sasak sarong fabric to protect your board with strength and style - hand-woven cotton with a texture similar to Turkish towel fabric.

• Designed for 9’0” – 9’6” longboards.

• Will also fit 8ft boards, though the fit will be looser and not as snug.

• Secure button closures and an easy slip-on design. 

On Lombok’s southern shores, culture is stitched into every thread. For the Sasak people, cloth is not just cloth — it is story, prayer, and heritage. Diamonds symbolise balance, triangles mirror the sacred mountains, and stripes flow like the rhythm of daily life. These patterns are a way of remembering who we are and where we belong.

Our Solah board bags were born from this spirit of meaning. They are stitched by the women of Tanjung Aan — women who once made their living welcoming travellers in the warungs that lined the beach. When those warungs were removed to make way for a resort, their income was swept away. But their resilience remained. Together, we found a new way forward — one that honours their skills, their culture, and their community.

Each bag reflects both the land and the hands that create it: earthy brown tones inspired by Lombok’s rugged cliffs, and geometric motifs that carry the wisdom of Sasak weaving. They are strong enough to protect your board, yet tender enough to hold story and meaning.

More than an accessory, these board bags are a bridge — between the waves you ride and the people who call this island home. They remind us that Lombok’s true beauty lies not only in its landscapes, but in its people and traditions.
