I think I'm between sizes and I'm not sure which to order?

Our swimwear is made true to size.

When first worn; your swimsuit will feel tight fitting until worn in the water.

If you are between sizes and plan to surf in the swimwear, we recommend that you size down, as the swimwear will stretch a bit with wear (i.e. if you are a small-medium; we recommend the small).

how should i care for my solah pieces?

Care Instructions for Handmade Swimwear

To keep your Solah Swim pieces looking their best, please follow these care guidelines:

1. Rinse After Use

Always rinse your swimwear in cool, fresh water immediately after swimming to remove salt, chlorine, and sunscreen residue.

2. Hand Wash Only

Gently hand wash with mild soap in cold water. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents, and fabric softeners, as they can damage delicate fabrics and dyes.

3. Do Not Soak or Wring

Do not soak for extended periods, and avoid wringing out the fabric. Instead, gently press out excess water with a clean towel.

4. Dry Flat in Shade

Lay your swimwear flat to dry in a shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight, as it
may cause fading. Never tumble dry.

5. Avoid Rough Surfaces

Sitting or rubbing against rough surfaces (like pool edges or concrete) can
snag or damage the fabric. We recommend using a towel as a barrier.

6. Rotate Your Swimwear

To extend the life of your pieces, rotate between suits rather than wearing the same one every day.

7. Store with Care

Ensure your swimwear is completely dry before storing. Avoid folding or storing while damp to prevent mildew or fabric damage.

Where are your products manufactured?

At Solah Swim, we’re proud to partner with a locally owned and operated swimwear artisan in Bali, Indonesia. Their team brings years of experience in garment production, and it shows in the quality and care that goes into every piece they create.

One of the reasons we chose this artisan is their deep commitment to sustainability. Each swimsuit is handmade using Carvico Vita (Econyl) — a high-performance recycled fabric made from discarded fishing nets and other ocean waste. It’s not only durable and flattering, but also helps reduce plastic pollution in our oceans.

Our manufacturer follows eco-conscious practices throughout production, minimising waste and donating fabric offcuts for local reuse. Every swimsuit is individually crafted and carefully inspected to ensure exceptional quality.

How much does shipping cost within Australia?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.

Australia – Domestic Shipping

All orders are dispatched from our Australian warehouse using Australia Post.

All international orders require paid shipping, with Express delivery via DHL Express.

  • Express Shipping cost: calculated at checkout based on weight and destination (no free Express option)
  • Delivery timeframe: 3–6 business days from dispatch

International Shipping Terms

  • We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO (military addresses).
  • Israel: remote zone; shipping costs may be higher.
  • Customers are responsible for any import taxes, customs duties, or brokerage fees imposed in their country.
  • We declare the full value of the goods on all shipping invoices and cannot under-declare.
  • If a shipment is refused and returned due to unpaid duties or taxes, refunds will be issued minus return shipping costs.

Note: DHL may add brokerage or processing fees beyond the listed rate—customers often report an extra $20–$30 processing charge for customs clearance.

Please check with your local customs office before placing an order to avoid delays or surprises. Solah Swim bears no responsibility for customs-related holds, fees, or returned shipments.

What is your returns policy?

Return & Refund Policy

We are unable to accept returns on swimsuits. Please be sure to read the sizing recommendations before your purchase. Reach out to us if you need guidance on sizing.

To be eligible for a return or refund for products that aren't swimsuits, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The return request must be made within 30 days of your purchase
  2. Items must be unused in original condition, and suitable for resale.
  3. Products must be returned in their original packaging, with tags.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund

Please note that we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for the following:

  1. Women’s bikinis and one-piece swimsuits
  2. Gift cards
  3. Used or damaged items
  4. Items not in resalable condition
  5. Sale or discounted items
When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

Order Processing Times

  • Orders are packed Monday to Friday, 8 am–2 pm AEST.
  • Expect dispatch within 1–3 business days of order placement.
  • shipping confirmation email with tracking details will be sent once dispatched.
  • During new collection drops or peak periods, slight delays in dispatch may occur.
